COLUMBIA, SC - Blair Lamb fired a final round 73 on Sunday to finish tied for third and help Furman to a fifth place team finish at the Lady Gamecock Invitational, held at the 5,966-yard University Club.

Lamb's one over-par 73 gave her a two over-par, three-day total of 218, seven shots behind medalist Maria Martinez of Auburn. The Lady Tigers captured the team championship with a three-round total of 879, 18 shots better than second place Tennessee. Florida State finished third (898), Virginia fourth (899), and Furman fifth (903).

Furman's Kathleen Ekey finished 10th with a three-day total of 223, and Monique Gesualdi 28th (230). Theresa Paik (36th, 232) and Haley Gildea (47th, 238) rounded out Furman's individual results.
