SPARTANBURG, SC -- Wofford’s Andrew Stubbs has been named Southern Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending Feb.20.

The sophomore from Hilton Head, SC, helped the Terriers garner victories over Mercer and and High Point this past week. The 2005 All-Southern Conference selection leads the team with four singles wins, all while playing at the No.1 position. Stubbs has won three of his last four contests.

The Terriers will take the court again on Friday, February 24, as they will entertain Southern Conference foe The Citadel in a match slated for 1 p.m.
