SPARTANBURG, SC -- Chattanooga’s Lloyd Rogers has been named Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week for the week of Feb.15.

The Palm City, FL, product recorded a 2-0 record on the week, with both wins coming against SoCon competition. He earned a major decision in UTC’s 32-6 victory over VMI and registered his first pin of the season in the Mocs’ 40-3 win over Davidson. He earned a total of 10 points on the weekend, helping Chattanooga ascend to first place in the Southern Conference standings.

Chattanooga returns to the mat to face UNC Greensboro on Saturday, February 18, to hosting the Spartans in a battle of the top two squads in the SoCon.
