UNC Greensboro’s Joe Lowe has been named Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week for the week of Feb.1.

The Lakeland, FL, native started the week strong, garnering a 6-4 decision over Duke’s Levi Craig Wednesday evening that helped the Spartans to a 23-9 victory over the Blue Devils. Lowe recorded his 16th win of the season on Friday with a 12-3 major decision over The Citadel’s Darius Caldwell, improving his overall record to 16-2 and his league record to 3-0.
