Mitchell placed 18th in a field of 278 at the 33rd annual Brooks Paul Short Run at Lehigh University. Mitchell completed the 8000m course in 24:51, which is a personal best by over a minute. That ties for the second fastest time by a Mountaineer on the Lehigh course. He led the team to a 15th place showing in the field of 42 teams, which included nationally ranked teams from NCAA Division I, II, III, and the NAIA.

Rick Myers, So, Elon (Bus. Admin. Major) Myers recorded a personal best of 26:12 for 8K to finish 34th out of 133 runners on a tough, hilly course at Bull Run Regional Park, hosted by George Mason University.
Lance Harden, So, Davidson (Apex, N.C., NC School of Science & Math) Harden finished 58th out of 278 runners at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University. His time of 25:20 for the 8K course is a 22-second personal best and the second fastest time ever on the Lehigh course by a Davidson Runner. It is also the eighth fastest time ever by a Davidson runner for an 8K course. There were 42 teams in the field including nationally ranked teams from NCAA Division I, II, III, and the NAIA.
Max Gustaitis, So, College of Charleston (Bloomington, Ind., Bloomington North ? 3.397 GPA Undecided) Gustaitis ran the 8K in 26:17 at James Island Co. Park at the Citadel Invitational. This was Max’s third 2nd place finish on the year.
Josh Wyatt, Jr, UNC Greensboro (Hope Mills, N.C., South View HS) Josh ran a time of 25:26 in the 8K race of the George Mason Invitational last week. This was a personal record of 54 seconds to place 12th in a very strong field that included 2005 NCAA qualifier Indiana. The 12th place finish helped to lead the Spartans to a 5th place overall team finish in the 15 team field.
