Tumbleston raced to a first place finish at the Southeastern Collegiate Invitational at Tanglewood Park.  He also led his team to a first place finish.  Tumbleston recorded a personal best of 26:20 on the grassy, 8K course.

Women

Kasey Smith ? Appalachian State

Junior ? Walnut Cove, NC

Kasey was the first collegian and third overall at the Appalachian Open with a time of 19:01.  No team score was kept; however, teams from ETSU, UNCA and UVA participated with App taking places 3-12.
