Ian Mayne ? UT Chattanooga

The Academic All-American ran a personal record of 15:12 over the Mocs home 5K course.  Among the nine teams that competed, Mayne topped the field that included Belmont, Samford, MTSU, and SEC contender Tennessee.  The Moc’s Colin Sullivan was runner up in 15:16.  The Mocs finished 3^rd behind the Vols and Belmont.

Women

Brenna Burns ? Davidson

Sophomore ? Weaverville, NC

Brenna finished in second place behind Virginia’s number one runner (17:44) in a time of 17:56 in the Lew Onesty Invitational hosted by the University of Virginia.  Virginia is currently ranked 25^th in the NCAA cross country rankings.  Brenna is the team captain majoring in Psychology and carries a 3.957 GPA.  This is Brenna’s second consecutive women’s Runner of the Week award.
