Football 6/23/2005 5:14:00 AM Southern Conference The Citadel-Florida State game to air on ESPNU Charleston, SC -- ESPNU announced late last week that The Citadel-Florida State football game slated for September 10 will be aired on the new 24-hour college sports network. Kick off is set for 6:45 pm.The Bulldog-Seminole match-up, which will be one of four games scheduled for September 10 on ESPNU, will mark the first time a Southern Conference member will be shown on the 24-hour college sports network. "This is a great opportunity for Bulldog football," stated Citadel Director of Athletics Les Robinson. "Appearing on one of the ESPN networks is not a luxury that many I-AA teams have and I want to thank ESPN and everyone at Florida State, including Athletic Director Dave Hart and coach Bobby Bowden, for giving us this opportunity."The Bulldogs will open the season on September 3 as they host cross-town rival Charleston Southern at 7 pm.
