Football 3/17/2005 1:45:00 AM Southern Conference Elon inks additional signee ELON, N.C. - Elon University second-year head football coach Paul Hamilton has announced the signing of wide receiver Sean Dooley (Wilmington, N.C./Hoggard) to a national letter-of-intent. He is the first addition to the 16-player class inked on National Signing Day on Feb. 2. The 6-0, 180-pound Dooley helped coach Scott Braswell's squad to three consecutive county and conference crowns. Hoggard has advanced to the state playoffs each of the past three years. As a junior, Dooley hauled in 35 receptions for 550 yards and three touchdowns. As a senior, he snagged 30 catches for 530 yards and five touchdowns. He is the son of Bill Dooley - former head football coach at University of North Carolina, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest University - and Marie Dooley.
