CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. ? Lindsay Galloway put on a show on Senior Night tallying 17 kills and 25 digs to lead the Lady Mocs to a 3-1 (30-19, 30-18, 28-30, 30-15) win over Lipscomb. The double-double was Galloway’s fifteenth of the season and her third in a row. Fellow senior Kelly Ramsay added 13 kills. She hit a match high .565 converting 13-of-23 attempts with no errors.

Leslee Ball had 12 kills and eight digs for the Lady Mocs. She also gathered six block assists. Bethany Herndon added a double-double with 44 set assists and 14 digs. The Lady Mocs had seven service aces on the match including four from Michaela Huff and two from Herndon.

Lara Newberry, who is currently third in the national rankings in digs, tallied 30 for the match. The Lady Mocs hit .387 as a team in the deciding game, while Lipscomb was held to a .020 hitting percentage.

Alex Scruggs led Lipscomb with 12 kills. Cara Wilber tallied 10 kills and 15 digs. Ann Mullins added 29 digs.

The Lady Mocs are now 16-13, while Lipscomb drops to 12-19. Chattanooga finished the home season 12-2 in matches played at Maclellan Gym.

Galloway and Ramsay were honored before the game for their outstanding careers. Both are four-year starters and seem to climb one ring further up the statistical ladder with each match. Senior manager Mandy Harrison was also recognized for her hard work.

The Lady Mocs close out their regular season with matches at UNC Greensboro and Elon on Saturday and Sunday. The Southern Conference Tournament is scheduled to begin on November 17. The Lady Mocs are currently in fourth. Finishing in the top five ensures a first-round bye.
