TALLAHASSEE, FL - Elon’s freshman forward Kiki Willis (Youngstown, Ohio/Cardinal Mooney) was honored for his play this week with a spot on the College Soccer News National Team of the Week on November 6. Willis led Elon to a 2-0-0 week with wins over #17 UNC Greensboro and a 1-0 opening round Southern Conference Tournament win over Appalachian State.

In the two games last week, Willis scored two goals and assisted on a third. His goal in the 36th minute against UNC Greensboro tied the game at 1-1. Willis later assisted on the game-winner, giving Elon its second-ever victory over a NCAA Division I top-25 foe.

Willis led the third-seeded Phoenix in the first round of the Southern Conference Tournament on Saturday night as he scored the game’s only goal 14 seconds into the second period.

On the year, Willis has scored a team-leading 10 goals and has 23 points. Five of his 10 scores have been game-winners.
