Junior forward Joseph Thompson posted his first career double-double as he recorded 10 points and 10 rebounds. Senior Guard Dante Terry tallied four more three pointers, giving him 10 on the season after hitting only 11 all last year. Terry needs 12 more to move into the number seven spot all-time.
Freshman guard Vytautus Valiulis got his first collegiate start and recorded a career-high seven assists. Junior guard Mark Schiavoni continues to be an asset off the bench as he converted three of six three pointers to register nine points in the contest.
“As Mark learns, he gets better,” commented Dennis. “He’s going to be a good player for us.”
