SoCon Men's Soccer Player of the Week for November 1

SPARTANBURG, SC -- College of Charleston forward Rondell Honora has been named the Southern Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 1, the league announced today.

Honora, a freshman forward from Charlotte, NC, netted two game-winners last week for the Cougars in wins over Campbell and Elon.

The two goals accumulated by the freshman on the week left him tied for third on the team in goals entering the final week of the regular season.

Other nominations for the week include Davidson’s Matt Allen (two goals in Davidson’s two wins last week), Furman’s Bryan Amos (picked up their shutout of season in win over Appalachian State last Sunday that secured Paladins top four seed in SoCon tournament), UNC Greensboro’s Randi Patterson (two goals in win over Wofford) and Wofford’s Joel Kozak (game-winner against Elon that gave Terriers their first SoCon win of the season).
