First-year coach Larry Brown and the New York Knicks are conducting training camp at the College of Charleston's John Kresse Arena.

The Knicks will work out in Charleston from October 4th through Oct. 12th. All practices are closed to the media and public.

The Knicks appearance marks the 14th season since 1991 that an NBA team has called the College of Charleston it's preseason home. The Washington Wizards held training camp at the school in 2003.

"It's nice having the Knicks use our facilities for training camp," said Cougar coach Tom Herrion. "It's an opportunity for our players to watch an NBA practice and understand the hard work and dedication it takes to play on that level. It's also nice to visit with some of my collegues and share some good times."
