SPARTANBURG, SC -- Furman’s Shea Salinas has been named the Southern Conference’s Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for October 14.

A sophomore forward from Grapevine, TX, Salinas led the Paladins to two wins last week over College of Charleston and Georgia Southern.

Salinas garnered the Paladins’ first goal in Furman’s 2-1 win over College of Charleston and then assisted on teammate Brian Martin’s game-winning goal last Friday in a 2-1 win over Georgia Southern.

Other top performers on the week included Elon’s Kiki Willis, Furman’s Shea Salinas, Georgia Southern’s Adam Webb, UNC Greensboro’s Randi Patterson and Wofford’s Joel Kozak.
