Mayne finished third out of over 200 runners in the 13th annual Auburn Invitational. The pre-med major posted a time of 23:52 over the 8k course. Auburn and New Mexico took the top two spots in the 25 team field, which included 19 Division I schools. The Mocs finished 8th.

Shannon Wommack ? UT Chattanooga

Senior ? Conyers, GA

Shannon won for the third time this season winning the Auburn Invitational in a new course record time of 16:20.  Shannon took the lead just before the two mile mark and pushed the pace for the record as the Lady Mocs took eighth place in the field of 23 teams.  The second and third place finishers were both All American last year in track and cross country.
