College of Charleston Ranked 31st In May 17 Poll

The College of Charleston baseball team is ranked 31st in this week's National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association top 35 poll.

The Cougars are 39-11 overall and 23-4 in Southern Conference play. The Cougars claimed their first Southern Conference title in their 5-4 win at UNC Greensboro on Sunday.

The Cougars have four regular season games remaining, all at Patriots Point Field. Charleston plays host to rival Charleston Southern in a 6:00 start on Tuesday. CofC opens a three-game SoCon series with Elon at 6:00 on Friday.

This is the eighth consecutive week CofC has been nationally ranked. Here's the NCBWA top 35 poll.
