UNCG's Andy Bare and CofC's Gretchen Zoeller
SPARTANBURG, SC - UNC Greensboro's Andy Bare and Furman's T.J. Blandford
share this week's SoCon Co-Men's Golfers of the Week award, while College of
Charleston's Gretchen Zoeller has been named the Women's Golfer of the Week.

UNCG's Bare (Senior, West End, NC) won his second tournament of the spring
season at the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate this past weekend, earning
co-medalist honors. He broke the Spartans' 54-hole scoring record, firing
an 11-under par 205. Bare's 66 in the second round is also a career-low.

Furman's Blandford (Junior, Paradise Valley, AZ) fired a nine-under par 207
at the 7,190 yard, par 72 LSU University Club course. Blandford finished as
the co-medalist in the event, falling to Tulane's Michael Thompson in a
playoff.

College of Charleston's Gretchen Zoeller finished as the co-medalist at the
Lady Eagle Challenge in Hattiesburg, MS after carding a three-round 224.
Zoeller, who recorded a career-low 70 in the second round, also lead
Charleston to its first tournament win of the 2003-04 season. The sophomore
from Floyd Knobs, IN was declared a co-medalist after five playoff holes
could not determine a winner.
