Cougars Ranked 27th In Nation

Charleston, S.C. -- The College of Charleston baseball team, winners of 19 of its last 21 games, is ranked 27th in the latest Collegiate Baseball newspaper top 30 poll released on Monday.

The Cougars are 28-7 overall and sit atop the Southern Conference standings with a 13-2 record. The Cougars are coming off a 2-1 week after winning two-of-three league games at Davidson over the weekend.

CofC plays at Coastal Carolina at 6:00 on Wednesday. The Cougars open a three-game Southern Conference series with East Tennessee State on Friday at 6:00.
