Western Carolina To Hold Spring Game Friday, April 16

CULLOWHEE, NC -- The Catamount football team will conclude its spring practices on Friday (April 16) with the annual Purple-Gold Game, which is set to begin at 8 pm. Prior to the start of the game, Coach Briggs will announce the award winners for spring practice as well as introduce his staff.

The format for the Spring Game will feature the number one offense and number two defense on one team and the number two offense and number one defense on the other. However, during the game, individuals may switch depending on situations and substitution patterns.

For the Spring Game, which is free to the public, the Department of Athletics will only open the West Side (new side) stands for concessions and restrooms.
