In doubles competition, Ball and Barlow knocked off Marlo Santoso and Host for the Terriers' lone win, 8-3.

"We needed to win this match after losing three straight," said head coach Rod Ray. "I think the team realized this and made a commitment to each other today and stepped up."

With the win, the Terriers improve to 5-3 while the 49ers drop to 3-8.

"The Citadel is playing really hard right now, as it is 2-0 in conference play," continued Ray in reference to tomorrow's match. "It should be a great match."
