Jacksonville 4, The Citadel 3

Jacksonville, FL - The JU men's tennis team won at the top three singles spots and captured the doubles point to hold off The Citadel, 4-3, Tuesday afternoon at the Alexander Brest Tennis Complex. Sophomore Martin Hehensteiger (Schechen, Germany) won at the No. 1 spot, junior Ben Birkmann (Bremen, Germany) won at No. 2 and junior Andres Rojas (Guatemala City, Guatemala) won at the No. 3 singles spot to lead the Dolphins to their eighth win of the season. Birkmann and junior Christoph Mueller (Waldassen, Germany) combined to win at No. 1 doubles, while Hehensteiger and Sehgal won at No. 2 doubles.

The Dolphins are back in action Tuesday, March 30 against UCF at the Alexander Brest Tennis Complex. The Citadel travels to Boone, NC to face Appalachian State at noon on April 3.
