Twiner and Willett Share SoCon Women's Golfer of the Week Honors

SPARTANBURG, SC - Becca Twiner of Western Carolina and Polly Willett of UNC
Greensboro, both tournament winners in the past week, have been named SoCon
Women's Golfers of the Week.

Twiner, a senior from Crystal River, FL, won the Lady Herd/El Diablo
Intercollegiate individual title by shooting a three-round 219, giving her
the second title in her collegiate career. Twiner's final round 69 tied for
the second lowest round in school history.

Willett, a junior from London, England, won the individual crown in a
playoff at the Peggy Kirk Bell Classic by defeating Tiffany Prats and Tina
Miller of Miami (FL). Willett fired a low round of 74 to pace her three-day
total of 224.
