CofC Womens Golf Finishes Tied for Fifth at Waterlefe

Bradenton, Fla. Cougar Angie Hill finished tied for 18th to lead the College of Charleston womens golf team to a fifth-place tie at the USF/Waterlefe Invitational held at Waterlefe Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla. Mississippi won the event with a three-round total of 926, while East Carolina placed second with a 932. Charleston finished with a 935 along with Miami.

Hill scored a 234 for her 18th spot, while Gretchen Zoeller and Amber Kuss shot a 236 in three rounds to place tied for 28th. Rounding out the Cougar effort were Sapna Patel and Kelley Groff, who both shot a 237 to end the tournament tied for 32nd. Cougar Brenda McLarnon competed as an individual and shot a 235 to finish tied for 21st

The Cougars compete Mar. 22-23 at the Lady Seahawk Challenge in Wallace, NC for their next tournament.
