CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The Georgia Southern men's tennis squad captured its
third consecutive victory of the season, rolling past Charleston Southern
6-1 in a non-conference match Tuesday afternoon.

The Eagles posted straight-set wins in five of six singles positions and
garnered the doubles point, thanks to victories by Stephen Dubienski/Doruk
Baglan (8-6) at the No. 2 position and Tom Green/Germano Knorr (8-2) at the
No. 3 slot.

Georgia Southern (3-4) got singles triumphs from Vincent Patry (6-2, 6-3)
at No. 1, Danie van den Heever (6-2, 6-2) at No. 3, Green (6-2, 6-3) at No.
4, Lasha Janashia (6-1, 6-1) at No. 5 and Charles-Henri Trottet (7-6, 7-5)
at No. 6.

Charleston Southern (0-2) used Jean-Pierre deLange's 6-2, 2-6, 10-7
decision over Baglan at the No. 2 singles position and an 8-4 No. 1 doubles
win by Quentin Guichard/deLange over Patry/van den Heever for its only
victories of the afternoon.

GSU will return to action for a pair of matches Friday, February 13, when
hosts Jacksonville at 10:00 a.m. before facing off against Bethune-Cookman
at 2:30 p.m. at Hanner Courst
