Citadel's 2004 Track & Field Schedule Set

Charleston, SC - Citadel head coach Jody Huddleston announced the 2004 track and field schedule Tuesday morning. The 2004 slate is highlighted by a trip to the US Naval Academy to kick-off the season and the addition of the Elon Invitational hosted by the Southern Conference's newest member.

"We are very excited about this year's schedule, although both the indoor and outdoor seasons have been extended," remarked Huddleston. "Our indoor season is a week longer wrapping up on February 28th and the outdoor season is two weeks longer as our conference meet is May 1-2. We have added a meet at the U.S. Naval Academy for the men in January and return to the University of Georgia in the outdoor season."

The Bulldogs are set to begin the 2004 season on January 24 as the men travel to Annapolis, MD to participate in the US Navy Invitational and then joined by the women's team the following weekend for the VMI Winter Relays. Both squads travel to Johnson City, TN February 27-28 and Cullowhee, NC May 1-2 to attend the SoCon Indoor and Outdoor Championships, respectively.
