ASU's Drake, Fee Fall In NCAAs

The remaining two Appalachian State wrestlers suffered defeats in the 2003 NCAA Wrestling Championships in Kansas City.

In the 133 wrestlebacks, Travis Drake (Cheraw, S.C.) ended his Appalachian career by falling to Iowa State's Zach Roberson 9-1.

Mark Fee (Coral Springs, Fla.) suffered his first defeat of the tournament and is now participating in the wrestleback portion of the tournament. Fee was downed by third-seeded Robbie Waller from Oklahoma by fall at the 1:27 mark. Fee, the only ASU wrestler still in competition, will take on Harvard's Pat O'Donnell in the wrestlebacks. Fee needs one win to be designated an All American for the second consecutive year.
