SoCon Men's Track Performer of the Week, Feb. 5, 2003

For the secont week in a row Western Carolina senior Caleb Bailey (Snellsville, GA) has been named as the Men's Performer of the Week. Bailey finished second in the 800m at the Niswonger Invitational at East Tennessee State, dropping his conference leading time by 2 seconds to 1:50.72. This time is a new WCU indoor school record and 0.20 seconds faster than the current conference record. In the prelims, he set the then WCU indoor school record with a 1:51.67. He also split 48.3 on the 4x400m relay team which finished fifth overall in 3:16.50.
