Women's Soccer 11/3/2003 8:17:00 AM Southern Conference Furman Improves to Ninth in Latest Regional Rankings GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman women's soccer team is ranked ninth in thelatest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) SoutheastRegion poll released on Monday. Furman is also tenth in the Soccer Buzzregional poll. Furman rises in the poll after defeating Wofford 3-2 and AppalachianState 1-0 last week in Southern Conference action. Furman won the Southern Conference regular season for the fifth straightyear. The Lady Paladins are riding a school record 12-match unbeatenstreak and recently set a Southern Conference record as they extendedtheir SoCon unbeaten streak to 24 matches.
