Furman Duo Preparing For NCAAs

COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS-- Furman's John Chesworth and James Cameron, who
will participate in the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships at Texas A&M
University on May 22, learned of their opponents May 21 when the
tournaments' draws were released.

Chesworth, who is ranked 54th in the country, will face Southern
California's 46th ranked Nick Rainey on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. CT. The
Southern Conference Player of the Year has registered a 17-8 record on the
year, including victories against players from Florida, Georgia, Alabama,
Texas Christian, and Vanderbilt.

Cameron and Chesworth, the 37th ranked doubles duo in the country, will
square off against Tulsa's 17th ranked tandem of Dane McGregor and
Shriranga Sudhakara on Wednesday. Although no specific match time has been
announced, the two teams will face off no earlier than 1:00 p.m. CT.
Cameron and Chesworth, who have been ranked as high as 14th in 2002,
garnered a 17-9 record on the year, including wins against teams from Notre
Dame, Northwestern, Alabama, and Wake Forest.
