Women's Golf 3/5/2002 10:23:00 AM Southern Conference CofC Women's Golf Finishes Tenth at Tulane Sapna Patel's 76 on the day's final round helped the Cougars sustain its tenth place finish at the Green Wave Classic held today at the Lakewood Country Club.Tulane took first place with a two-day total of 601. In second was Mississippi with its 625 after 36 holes. Rounding out the top three was Campbell with its 638. The Cougars' total was 659 at the end of the day.Patel came in tied for eighth with her 156 total, while Christiane Gaul and Jennifer Bridwell totaled a 167 each to finish tied for 41st. Tied for 52nd was Kelley Groff with her 169 and rounding out the Cougar effort was Amanda Hellaeus's 178 was good enough for a tie at 68th.The College of Charleston will travel to Bradenton, Fla., Mar. 18-19 to take part in the South Florida/Waterlefe Invitational.
