Furman 4X800-Meter Relay Squad Sets School Standard

GREENVILLE, SC - The Furman women's 4x800m relay squad set a new school record on Saturday with a first-place, 9:28.0 finish at the
Clemson Relays.

Julie Stackhouse, Helena Janecic, Sarah Johnson, and Bev Roberts combined to break the previous mark of 9:36.00, set in 1995 by Amy Ginette, Rhoda Maron, Gail Pennachio and Heather VandeBrake.

Furman's men's and women's track teams will continue the outdoor season Friday and Saturday at the Emory Classic. The Furman Invitational is slated for April 13 at the Belk Complex for Track and Field/Kelsey-West Track.
