Two Southern Conference basketball players have been named to the collegeinsider.com Preseason All-America team.
VMI's Jason Conley and East Tennessee State's Zakee Wadood both were members of the team.
Conley, a 6-5 sophomore guard, last year averaged 29.3 points per game to lead NCAA Division I in scoring.
Wadood, a 6-6 junior forward, is the top returning scorer for the Bucs after averaging 14.5 points and a league-best 9.2 rebounds last year. He led ETSU to an 18-10 overall record and a share of the North Division crown.
