SoCon Women's Basketball Games Rescheduled Due to Weather

FURMAN BASKETBALL RESCHEDULED FOR JAN. 17

GREENVILLE, South Carolina -- Because of poor road conditions between Greenville and Boone, N.C., Furman's women's basketball game versus
Appalachian State, slated for Jan. 2, at 5 p.m., has been postponed until Thursday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m.

In addition to the meeting on the 17th, Furman will face Appalachian State on Saturday, Feb. 2, in Boone, N.C. The Lady Paladins are currently 1-1 in the Southern Conference while the Mountaineers are 0-2 in league play.

Davidson Women's Basketball Game Against UNC Greensboro Postponed

DAVIDSON, N.C. - The women's basketball game between Davidson and UNC Greensboro, scheduled for this evening at 7:00, has been postponed due to the inclement weather throughout the Carolinas. That announcement was made today by Davidson Athletic Director Jim Murphy.

The game has been rescheduled for February 14 at 7:00 pm.

The Wildcats are currently 4-6 on the season and 1-1 in Southern Conference action.

Davidson is scheduled to return to action Saturday, January 5 at 3:00 against the Furman Paladins. The game will be played at Belk Arena on the campus of Davidson College.
