The Spartans broke open a close game at the half by outscoring Asker 55-26 in the second half, and move to 3-0 on their Norway-Sweden tour.UNCG led 18-17 after one quarter, and used an 8-0 run at the beginning of the second quarter to extend the lead to nine, 26-17. The Spartans would lead 42-32 at halftime, paced by 12 points from Courtney Eldridge.Asker would cut the lead to single digits, 49-40, in the third quarter. But a James Maye trey ignited a 20-4 run to end the third quarter and give UNCG a 64-42 edge. The Spartans would lead by as much as 32 at 81-49.Joining Joseph and Eldridge in double figures was Maye, who recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. The Spartans finish the Norway portion of their Europe tour at 3-0 after recording their second win over the Norwegians in as many days.UNCG, which trailed the majority of the game, was down by three, 55-52, when Brianne Dodgen and Jacinda Lambert combined for eight straight points and a five-point UNCG lead. The Norwegians used a pair of three-pointers to grab the lead back at 62-61, before UNCG's 10-0 closing spurt.The Spartans were down 18-12 after one quarter, and 33-30 at halftime, the first time on their Europe trip they have trailed at the break.UNCG dominated the boards, as Sandi Reid registered a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds, while ChoRhonda Gwaltney added 11 rebounds.
