Oslo took a 60-58 lead late in the third quarter, its first since the score was 6-4, but Eldridge scored four straight to give the lead back to UNCG. With UNCG up 64-62 after three, the Kings scored four unanswered for a 66-64 edge. Baskets by Eldridge and Tizzo Johnson gave the Spartans a two-point lead. Following a basket by the Kings that tied the score, Johnson tipped in a rebound to key a 14-4 run to put the game away. UNCG led almost the entire first half, leading by as much as 15 in the first quarter before the Kings rallied back into the game. The Spartans, who improved to 2-0 on their Norway-Sweden tour, will play a second game against Norway on August 13. It was a tight battle in the first quarter, as UNCG opened up a 13-7 advantage, but saw Norway rally to tie the game at 27 to end the quarter. Foster tallied nine points during the opening quarter, while Norway stayed in the contest by going 11-of-11 from the line. The Spartans took control in the second, as Katie DelCampo scored four straight to key a 9-0 run over the first 3:37. UNCG outscored the Norwegians 26-9 in the quarter, and ended the half on a 13-3 spurt for a 53-36 lead.
