Chattanooga Sprinters Compete At ETSU

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.--Sprinters from Chattanooga's women's track team travel to Johnson City, Tenn., this weekend to compete in the East Tennessee State University Invitational. The meet will take place inside ETSU's Memorial Center.

Marna Moore and Tyleana Hanner are competing in the 60 meter hurdles and the 60 meter dash. Priliminary heats are Friday. If the two are successful, they will advance to the finals on Saturday.

Moore finished second in the 55 hurdles (8.42) at the Middle Tennessee State Invitational last Saturday and sixth in the 55 meters (7.64).

Hanner was named Southern Conference Athlete of the Week for her performance at Middle Tennessee. She placed first in the four jump with a distance of 18-11 and second in the 200 meters (24.99). Hanner picked up a seventh place finish in the triple jump (34-11).
